When traveling, our team typically opts for VRBO or Airbnb rental homes. Each athlete is provided with a pillow, and everyone is ensured a bed; no one sleeps on couches or the floor. However, it's not always possible for everyone to have a separate bed, so you may end up sharing a queen-size or larger bed with a member of the same gender on the team. We make sure to choose homes with an appropriate number of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate all athletes. We strictly enforce sleeping arrangements that separate men, women, and non-binary members of the team.

The team takes pride in cooking most meals at the rented homes, catering to the nutritional and taste preferences of the athletes. We prioritize nutritious and healthy meals to ensure everyone eats well.

To promote quality rest, we enforce nighttime quiet hours, typically from 10 pm until 6 am, allowing athletes at least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. Additionally, we often designate quiet time at the rented homes after competitions to allow for recovery naps.  If an athlete chooses not to prioritize sufficient rest, which includes a minimum of 6 hours of sleep the night before the race, the coach reserves the right to suspend the athlete from participating in the race the following day, prioritizing the athlete's safety.

As a team, we pride ourselves on leaving the rented homes in pristine condition. Before departure, we take the time to clean the rented home thoroughly, ensuring that the homeowner is pleased to have hosted us and that we are always welcome in rental homes.

When Hosted at a Private Home (excluding VRBO or Airbnb)

At times, the team is invited to stay at accommodations provided by supporters in private residences. While we deeply appreciate and value such support, it's important to note that the team is permitted to stay only in places where the coach oversees decisions regarding sleeping and meal arrangements. Additionally, the team can only lodge in homes and accommodations that adhere to all team policies, including quiet times and abstaining from alcohol, drugs, or marijuana use during the team's stay.
