Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, she grew up deeply immersed in the Nordic ski community, racing for West High and training year-round with APU Nordic Ski Center. She has competed at Junior Nationals and the Arctic Winter Games as part of Team Alaska, bringing strong racing experience to the CMU Cross Country Ski Team.
Greta also has a passion for giving back, having coached youth skiing programs during high school. Outside of skiing, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through biking, backpacking, climbing, and backcountry skiing.
At the 2026 USCSA National Championships in Lake Placid, Greta delivered a standout performance, establishing herself as one of the top collegiate skiers in the country. She captured two individual national titles, winning the 7.5 km classic and the 15 km freestyle races in deep, highly competitive fields. In addition, she earned a bronze medal in the freestyle sprint, demonstrating her versatility across all formats. Her results were a major contribution to the team’s success and marked one of the most dominant individual performances at Nationals that year.
